Revised Speed limits through Longden Common

Following a number of concerns that have been raised when the Parish Council has been considering a revised speed limit through Longden Common a Public meeting has been arranged for Thursday 15th November 2012 evening staring at 6.30 pm at the Red Lion Public House to discuss the proposal and the rationale behind it .

From Mervyn & Gill at Longden Stores

THANK YOU
We would both like to say a big thank you to all our friends in Longden, Annscroft, Pulverbatch and beyond for all the support and generosity which we have received following our recent very scary experience. We have been absolutely overwhelmed; we always knew that this is a lovely place to live and work and this is one of the things which has proved it!
Thank you all so much

Parish Magazine

Sandra Earney is taking over as Editor of our Parish Magazine.

Sandra hoping to make next month's edition a special Thank You edition (to Sheila Crone - 18 years distinguished and dedicated service). Do you think you could ask every one who might like to to write a short message for Sheila saying Thank You and I am sure you/they could think of a memory or two about Sheila as editor that might be good to put in this edition as well.

Please pass all entries to Sandra at:
